150 works by artists from all over Italy were sent to the contest and one of those chosen was created by the artist from Albisola Superiore.
Thanks to the creation of the two works “The black couple”, the artist from Albisola Paolo Pastorino was among the twenty winners (plus 6 extra) of the contest “In arte… Diabolik: Eva Kant, una perfect accomplice” organized by PUG and from the publishing house Astorina Srl.

In fact, last Saturday he was awarded at the UNAHotel Cusani in Milan on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the witty and sensual protagonist with emerald green eyes who appeared for the first time in number 3 of the comic Diabolik. 150 works by artists from all over Italy were sent to the contest and one of those chosen was created by the artist from Albisola Superiore who will be visible in the exhibition until 27 June.

Pastorino is the creator of the iconic bunnies with zoomorphic shapes, called “Osvaldo”, present in Piazza Dante and born from an artistic project that refers to the current of Toy Art that brings together the experiences of manga, video game and comic book illustrations.

Last May 21, an Osvaldo painted in collaboration with the painter Mirella Clotilde Fiore was inaugurated, putting pop design at the center combined with classic decoration in Atico Savona for a four-handed work.
