Albisola Marina. From 19 February to 6 March at the Circolo degli Artisti, in Pozzo Garitta 32, the works of the “Reload” exhibition by the Savonese Gianluca Cutrupi and Paolo Pastorino are hosted, curated by Paola Gargiulo. The exhibition can be visited from Wednesday to Friday from 15:30 to 19, Saturday and Sunday from 10 to noon and from 15:30 to 19. The inauguration is scheduled for Saturday 19 February at 17.
Engineer and industrial designer, with his work Cutrupi admirably manages to combine plastic dexterity and innovation. The studies completed with important teachers and artists of the Albisola cultural panorama allow him to develop his personal poetics of great sensitivity, which is found in his ceramic animals, his spheres and his parade plates and, to return to the good fruits of ceramics , large pears and cherries transformed into vehicles of light and luminous suggestions.
IT entrepreneur, designer artist and son of art, Pastorino expresses himself through multiple media, including sculpture, painting and digital art. His works are the result of an elaborate and complex multidisciplinary technique that goes from ceramics to digital 3D to the use of colors with avant-garde techniques, in which the study of shape and color are the undisputed protagonists.
From an early age he had the opportunity to frequent important artists of international caliber in the family’s ceramic factory, who developed enormous stimuli and creative techniques in him. The di lui is a contemporary alphabet contaminated by urban and surreal pop culture, by rigorously classic solid colors of the pop world and by a precise use of precious metals.
